Google confirmed that the number of Android Market
There is no doubt that Android handsets and Android Market is in fast growth. Eric Schmidt said Google’s
partners sold 60000 Android phone per day, the number of Android Market applications reached about 20000
at the end of last year( about 16,000 or so). Today, Google responded to MobileCrunch that the number of
applications(include paid and free) in Android Market has exceeded 3 million, in other world it’s increased
about more than 10,000 pieces of applications in 3 months (nearly doubled). In fact, according to
AndroLib(a third-party applications site) statistic that the total number of all applications are close to 35000.
Compared to Apple, who’s number has already more than 140,000 in January this year alone,
a total of five times to the Android Market’s, Google still has a long way to go. Despite institutions
predict that the number of Android Market applications will reach as many as 150,000 at the end of the year
, but according to this growth rate can it reaches?
Google Map

Google Maps for Android upgrated to 4.1,mainly has four renewals:
Firstly, the newly designed result page (see above figure), the four modes (maps, navigation,
contact information and streetscape) can be switched by four buttons. There's an extra
page which can view the users' comments and playing scores to a merchant.
Secondly, slide search: if you get a number of reach results, there's no need for you to return
the search result list when you examination one of the results, all you need to do is just sliding left
or right which can jump to the previous or the next detailed page.
Thirdly, Latitude widget:you can add a widget which can help you keep control of whereabouts of
your friends on the desktop. You can even find new added Maps option in the dynamic desktop

android software
In2008, Google and33 othercompanies announced the Open Handset Alliance (aHA)
, a new industry consortium that, in
promotingopen standards for mobile devices, promises to reinvent the cellphone-andpossibly the entirewirelesstelecommunications industry. Whilethat’s a tall order
, I suspect that handsets,
which Google intends to make as customizable as laptop computers, are justthebeginning
of the company’s
mobile efforts.
The word ”open” in aHA’s name is not just a buzzword: it signifies a radical departure from today’s cellular networks, especially those in the United States. Today’s cellular ecologies
aren’t exactly closed; it’s possible to load third-party applications onto some cell
phones, and websites belonging to thirdparty providers such as Google can be accessed.
Verizon (not an aHA member)
has even announced its willingness to open its network to non-Verizon phones.
Butthat openness is all at the
periphery: wireless providers today offer just enough choice
in phones, features, and services to remain competitive while
preventing consumers from using rival technology and defecting to other carriers.
Later,we will provide our users some popular and useful software.Absolutely,it is free.
